So I’ve been really busy trying to keep up with everything lately and since I got a new computer which didn’t have a photo editing program I let the blogging slide a bit. Now I have currently finished 2 pairs of socks and 3 Murlocs. I have one more to go before I am done and then I will be done with Murlocs for some time I think.

The lost boys are doing well. Alex has managed to get a score of 98 for the Gate program. Which he was very excited about until he realized that meant more classes and homework. *insert evil laughter here*

The lost boys are still filling in the very large and deep grave they dug to china three weeks ago. Currently they almost have some of their toys back, and have been allowed to do more then just stare at a wall for the last week. Which has been nice for everyone. We are hoping they can go a whole week without trying to open the grave back up. Our fingers are crossed and I think since the microwave has given up the ghost and the clock no longer changes minutes that they have fully decided that watching the clock is not as fun as it used to be. I could be wrong about that…lets hope not.

I have been editing the Strangers RPG game, while will be released June 1st and am very very excited about that. As well I am planning on attending Gen Con in Aug to watch the game be debuted.

Oh I got my Kindle today and I absolutely LOVE it. I love it more then…hmm well less then Craig and more then WoW…I think. Yeah yeah I’m almost sure that’s the right amount. I need to knit it a case so that it doesn’t get scratched up.

Okay that’s all I’ve got for now I still haven’t quiet learned my new photo editing software and I really don’t have the patience for it tonight. So here is the post with out pictures. 🙂

I finished the tags for my yarn, I’m not completely happy with them because I couldn’t find any pictures I wanted to use as a logo. That is okay though because I just decided I could add that after I find what I want instead of waiting for the perfect one to come along.

I also finished the next set of row counting bracelets. I think they turned out beautifully.

The Lost boys have been doing pretty well, you know considering the deprogramming we have to do when we get them back from the Wicked Witch. I was thinking last night about how if she had any…ability to do anything well she’d be a lot like Saffron from Firefly…You know “I hate to break into your CRAZY TIME!” Her newest brilliant idea is that the kids obviously need growth hormones because she feels they are to short and its damaging their psyche. Never mind the fact that she’s the one feeding them the information they should feel badly about their height. I’m not sure what kind of monster growing children she expected to have…you know considering that she is maybe 5’3 and Craig is about 5’5 so……yeah you do the math. Okay moving on.

In the happy news…I taught Craig to knit. Okay I tricked Craig into wanting to knit. I dyed him some yarn I knew he wouldn’t be able to resist and the told him it was for sale. He asked if he could learn to knit a scarf and I gave him the yarn. I even have proof!

As for other stuff that’s been going on…Oh yeah I finished a sock! Let me go take a picture of it. I really love how it turned out, and yes this is some of the yarn that we dyed. Though technically this yarn was dyed by my sister.

I have also started a scarf for Breast Cancer Research. Which is going along pretty well. Though I’m not to sure I like the pattern and I probably won’t knit it again. Really I just wanted to work with the yarn which is Soysilk and Alpaca, so it’s really really soft. And because it’s for charity I will be able to write it off.

I have been working on the layout for the Stranger’s website but it’s kind of at the idea stage until I get the software to do the implementation stage. And that’s about everything that’s been going on lately.

Well not much a little knitting and a bunch of work. I worked on Thanksgiving and was surprisingly busy since they kept saying that it was one of the slowest days of the year. I did 4 massages, and made very good money. Which after talking to some of my other co workers seems I was pretty much the only one.

Also I’ve been working on some knitting. I finished Kiyana’s hatKiyana's Hat

and her mittens. Kiyan'as Gloves

I am half finished with my fingerless mitts. Since we knit outside on knit night I need a something to keep my hands warm, but not mess with my dexterity while knitting.

Fingerless Mitts

So that’s pretty much what I’ve been up to in the last few days. Hope you all had a great Thankgiving!

Last night I went to the knitting group here on my side of town, and I had a blast.  Everyone was so nice and they made all of us new people feel very welcome.  I took my Sugarplum Shrug to work on, which was probably a mistake. I think I need to tink back one half row, because I got lost a few times in the pattern and I’m not sure I got it correct.

It was kind of chilly outside though as it’s getting to be winter here in the desert. So when I got home I cast on some fingerless mittens, and I plan to have them done before next Wednesday. They’re pretty cute and when I get home tonight I’ll add a picture of them since I don’t have time right now.
